The Snoop Dogg G Pen might be a very attractive pen especially with all the accessories that it comes with and the matte finish, but it’s not a great vaporizer. I have been using the G Pen for quite some time now and one major thing that I’ve noticed is that it does not produce a lot of smoke. When you’re smoking, you want to get a lot of smoke, so you know you’re not wasting your herbs. Although the herbs do burn, I feel that the temperature of the atomizer is not calibrated correctly for you to get the most out of your weed. In addition to that, you have to constantly clean the pen out to get a clean smoke. After a few hits, you’re left with a whole lot of ashe, and some weed. That is my biggest issue with the pen, the fact that it does not burn proportionally. You end up having to smoke both your ashes and the remainder of the weed that you have left in the tank.
The accessories are awesome, which is a huge plus in comparison to many other portable herbal vaporizers out there. The containers are extremely useful in storing your herbs. The smell does not come out of it — It’s just a neat perk.
I never thought the grinder card would be of any use to me, but it turned out that it worked great. It is basically a grater, which works wonders with weed as well. Sure, being that it’s in the shape of a G, it makes it a bit annoying.
It functions the same as most portable vaporizers. You press the power button five times to power on and off the device. The battery life is pretty standard and can last you for quite some time on a full charge. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing vaporizer for me because of the fact that there was not much smoke being produced.
